8 Weeks

Almost at the 8 week mark! Felt pretty yucky this week... We got our first baby outfit from Renee my mother-in-law:

And also got our first baby gift from the in-laws!

In other news this week I got both flu shots!

First OBGYN Dr. Appt today!

We are almost at the 7 week mark! I finally started feeling yucky this week. Tired, sick and slightly nauseaus. Only 33 weeks to go!

And any bump I have here is purely belly fat that I would have liked to lose beforehand :)

Sweet Pea!

So I read today that our baby is the size of a sweet pea! That is so cool and weird! I havn't really felt very different except for the usual bloating... but not really nauseaous yet...

We had a doctor appointment on Tuesday to "confirm" our results. Next up: Seeing the OBGYN we picked in Salem! Our first appt. is in one week!

Belly Pic #1

So my future sister-in-law, Katie, suggested I take my first "belly pic" which I insisted that would be pointless because all I have is belly fat right now, no baby bump.... but she had a good point: When I look back at this picture in 9 months I will probably look at it and say "wow I had a great stomach back then!" even though I don't feel that way now :) So here it is...

Good News!

Well its official, after being 5 days late and 2 different tests it looks like we are going to be parents!

It's still really early (Im guessing) and we hesitated to start telling people, but here were are announcing it to the world.

I did an online due-date calendar predicter (which is totally official) and it put me at the 4th of July! Wow, now that would be fun and good to get it all done before the multiple weddings I am both in and doing pictures at!

So far this week I have just felt crampy and tired... with a headache or two mixed in! But its still a bit surreal.... seeing as nothing is really different yet, its hard to grasp whats really going on!

Next up: I need to find a doctor in McMinnville!
